Mijn navigatie stuurt me steeds naar de hoofdweg die van zuid naar noord gaat, maar als ik de optie \u2018avontuurlijke route\u2019 kies krijg ik me toch mooie wegen voorgeschoteld! Op het einde van de dag blijken er 35 km meer op de teller te staan dan de geplande 255, allemaal kleine omwegen om de hoofdweg te mijden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als ik aankom in Sam Roi Yot, mijn eindbestemming, moet ik eerst even afkoelen bij een klein strandbarretje. Een wielrenner uit Stockholm heeft hetzelfde idee en we raken even aan de praat. Ik vervolg mijn resterende korte weg naar mijn bungalowtje en heel toevallig blijkt de wielrenner die ik sprak mijn buurman te zijn.
