Maar het was de gezellige avond dubbel en dwars waard. Zelfs een avondje stappen is in deze stad een hele belevenis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hebben een snorkelexcursie naar het eiland Koh Larn voor de kust van Pattaya geboekt. Om 8.00 uur staan we voor de winkel van het duikcentrum om even later met een busje naar de haven te worden gebracht. Er worden pilletjes voor zeeziekte uitgedeeld en aangezien ik hier nogal gevoelig voor ben accepteer ik er graag een. Maar we zijn hier om samen te snorkelen en gelukkig is ook dat een mooie ervaring. Zeker ook omdat Pim een flinke octopus ziet die we erg dicht kunnen benaderen. Verbazingwekkend hoe dit beest razendsnel van kleur verandert en zelfs oplicht als ik het aanraak.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zeeziekte blijft gelukkig uit en na een volle dag op zee worden we weer netjes vlakbij het hotel afgezet. De avondwandeling langs het strand eindigt in een bar waar we de eerste F1 wedstrijd van het seizoen kijken. Aan het eind van de race worden de ogen weer zwaar en zoeken we direct ons bed op, want morgen starten we de motoren weer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
