Vandaag zullen we de kust bereiken en daar hebben we alle drie wel weer zin in.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We zijn al een flink stuk op weg als we bij een leuk openluchtrestaurantje stoppen voor een laat ontbijt. Het ligt in the middle of nowhere en voelt alsof we bij een echtpaar thuis aanschuiven. De vriendelijke uitbaters halen alles uit de kast voor hun enige klanten. Terwijl we wachten tot de Pad Thai (rijstnoedels met groenten en pinda gruis) klaar is krijgen we verschillende fruitsoorten uit eigen tuin voorgeschoteld. Heerlijk!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De tweede pauze genieten we in de schaduw onder een \u2018Giant Monkey Tree\u2019 van een verfrissende smoothie. Of het nu koffie, thee, frisdrank of fruitsap is; in heel Thailand zijn alle dranken als \u2018iced\u2019 te bestellen. Grote bekers die voor meer dan de helft met ijs worden gevuld, waarna het bestelde wordt toegevoegd.
