Van die typische Aziatische, reusachtige rotsblokken met steile bergwanden en bijna altijd volledig begroeid. Hoe noordelijker ik kom, hoe groener en gevarieerder het wordt. Thakhek-loop rijden. Een groot gebied met oerwoud kwam daardoor onder water te staan en dat wordt nu het Sunken Forest genoemd. Herkenbaar aan de dode boomstammen die overal&nbsp; uit het water steken. Op Booking 18 euro maar ik vermoedde al dat het zonder reservering goedkoper zou zijn want er zijn nauwelijks toeristen. En ja hoor, voor de helft heb ik een deal maar dan moet ik wel wat bijbetalen voor een ontbijt.
