Vreemd want toen ik in het zuiden vanuit Maleisi\u00eb de grens passeerde werd ik er langs de weg mee doodgegooid.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Chang Rai zit twee straten bij me vandaan een verzekeringskantoortje en ik hoop daar alsnog wat af te kunnen sluiten. Maar dat valt nog niet mee want de jongedame spreekt geen woord Engels. Gelukkig heb ik mijn verlopen verzekeringspapieren bij me, dat helpt haar om een en ander uit te zoeken. Gedurende het proces en enkele telefoontjes later komt ze erachter dat dit voor buitenlanders alleen op het hoofdkantoor kan. Heel vreemd, maar ik heb weer geluk want die zitten slechts 1 km verder! Een uur later sta ik daar weer buiten met 3 maanden verzekering voor omgerekend \u20ac4,35.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voldaan wandel ik terug naar mijn guesthouse waar ik weer verder ga met het sorteren van foto\u2019s en monteren van de YouTube video want jullie hebben de blauwe tempel nog van me tegoed. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wat Rong Suea Ten, beter bekend als de Blauwe Tempel, is een boeddhistische tempel die opvalt door zijn blauwe kleur. Deze kleur staat symbool voor zuiverheid, wijsheid en het gebrek aan materialisme waar boeddhisten naar streven.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aan het begin van de 21e eeuw was ook deze tempel in een zeer slechte staat van onderhoud geraakt en een student van Chalermchai Kositpipat, de kunstenaar die de beroemde Witte Tempel heeft gemaakt, mocht dit project aanpakken. Misschien ietsje te kitsch, maar het resultaat mag er zijn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"810\" height=\"1080\"
