Just before a full moon, the island fills up with thousands of revelers who attend the huge parties, similar to a festival.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, it is now low season and most hotels are not even half occupied. Beaches and beach bars are almost empty, some dive shops are closed and even the waterfalls are almost dry. I don&#039;t really want to think about what it is like here in high season because now it is wonderful to stay.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
