Yes! Back on the road in Asia!

Before I leave Bangkok I need a day to edit and sort video and photo material from Australia. That's good because I get a message from Rik Heiligers from Beesel, whom I met earlier in Nepal, that he is on his motorcycle to Bangkok. We'll have dinner together and in the evening we'll be amazed at the nightlife street Khaosan Road. Nice to meet him again and exchange new travel experiences.

I am very excited to ride a motorcycle again. So does my engine because it starts right away with a loud parking garage rumble. It takes a while before I leave Bangkok, because twice I come across a Labor Day demonstration, but after the boring exit road things are moving along nicely.

I decide to take a detour through Khao Chamao-Khao Wong National Park. A beautiful road where, according to the signs, elephants often cross. Unfortunately not today. I do see a lot of rubber plantations: large forests with Hevea trees planted in rows. After removing a piece of bark from the tree, the latex drips out and is collected in small containers.

My final destination today is in Khlong Khut, on the coast and only 100 km from the Cambodian border. First enjoy a beach day.
